We had the pleasure to take the shop to Clare for the Clare Quilters Exhibition which is about 1 hour north of the shop. We decided to stay over rather then running back and forward each day. It gave us a little break away from home. We stayed at the Riesling Trail & Clare Valley Cottages, in one of their cottage. If you get the chance to head that way, we do recommend the cottages, on the edge of town in a nice quiet street. It was a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting.

The view out the front of our cottage.

A real treat when you have a beautiful quilt on your bed when you go away.

Over three days at the Town Hall we were able to catch up with some of our regular customers that we would normally see at the Laura Folk Fair. Plus meet lots of new people, introducing them to what Cynthia’s Ark has on offer.

Clare Town Hall

The Clare Quilters looked after us during the day with cuppas and cake. The weather wasn’t as good as we often have for a October long weekend, but Saturday was the pick of the three days. A taste of what is to come, I think.

Some snapshots of the stand.

We thoroughly enjoy ourselves over the four days.

Until Next Time

Keep Stitching
