This week we were up at Sew Delightful in Burra for our Crimson Poppy Retreat, 3 days of learning, sewing, cutting, chatting, making new friends and enjoying good food.
On Monday we started out with our pop up shop for the first time, We will be doing this again on our next visit. Thank you to the ladies that popped in to do some shopping and support us. This will give the local quilters better access to Cynthia’s Ark without having to travel down to Mallala. I hope they see it as a good idea. The next time the pop up shop will be at Sew Delightful will be Monday 12th September 12pm- 5pm. We look forward to see the locals pop in.
Plus if you need anything in particular call me or message me and I cut bring it with me. You can even purchase on the website and choose the click and collect option and let me know it will be collected in Burra at our next pop up shop. The ladies progress over our Crimson Poppy retreat. They will all be stunning quilts when they are finished. If you are interested in attending one of our retreat, please contact me for more details. Plans for next year’s retreats are well underway including a Christmas in July Retreat.
By Thursday afternoon we had to head home, though we could easily had started longer. Until next month when we do it all again for our Anything Goes retreat. That one will be a more relaxed affair.
