We are at the beginning of 2022. Here is my list of unfinished projects from 2021. I need to reduce this list, but I keep finding new projects to start. Yes I have 6 project sitting there calling me to start them now. I am resisting at the moment but how long will that last.
I am hoping by removing some major blockages from my life, it should free up my time. I can now focus on the tasks I need to be doing.
Some of these have been on my list for too many years. I need to address that issue, which we will all be doing over in my Cynthia’s Ark Project Uninterrupted Facebook group. Link at the bottom of this post.
1. Forget Me Not Sew Along EPP hexagon quilt. Up to Step #9 which is about 3/4 through the top. No progress here.
2. Bitty Blocks from the Quiltmaker blog. I am planning to join my Signature blocks with these block to make something out of them
3. My Gardenife Table runner has two blocks completed and I am part way through the third block.
4. My Pemberley Quilt. A block of the month started in 2016. No progress here at all.
5. The Shop’s Octagon quilt was another block of the month program started in 2016. The blocks are done and I have started on the squares that fill in around the octagons. I need to work on the layout so I can start sewing them together. Some of the blocks.
6. My Paradise in Bloom has been quilted and I have the binding on ready for hand sewing down. That is progress, but it should have been finished.
7. En Provence Mystery Quilt 2016- Mine is a smaller version of the original and I think there is still a few parts to make up before I can sew the top together. Even choosing to do a smaller version has not help me to complete it before the next year’s mystery is released.
8. My Christmas Reproduction Sampler Quilt. All the blocks are completed but no progress this year on it.
9. 2017 On Ringo Lake Mystery Quilt. I think there is a few blocks left to make before the top can go together, I did find some part blocks in the scrap pile. How they got there I am not sure.
10. My Glacier Star Quilt is ready for quilting. Our Technique of the month workshop series in 2021. the first one I taught after becoming a Certified Shop.
11. My Coral Reef Quilt which is 2022 Technique of the month workshop series. It is currently at the House of Valerie waiting to be quilted.
12. My American Honey quilt. I have completed all the blocks. I have started the Quilt as you Go part, most of the blocks are quilted and I have joined some blocks together.
13. My Folk Flower Quilt I started in Anna Maria Homer’s workshop at Hettie’s Patch. All the background blocks are completed ready for the reverse applique. I did cut myself a summer project but I am wondering about pulling this one out and working on it as I was doing it by hand.
14. One Abbie block became two blocks and I started a third one. 3 would give me a table runner.
15. My Rulerwork Quilt started. I think I have 10 blocks made so far.
16. One block done from a sew along.
17. There is eight Quiltworx projects still to be quilted and completed.
18. Two projects from the warm up sew along, leading to the Nebula block of the Month need quilting. There is at least one more cut ready to go and I haven’t started Nebula. Though Nebula doesn’t count here as it has not been started.
19. My Scrappy Flower quilt which started as a test. I have completed the larger shop version which I plan to kit up but I still need to finish the smaller version.
20. My Lakeshore Sunrise is ready for binding as it has just come home from Valerie after she did a fantastic job custom quilting it.
21. I have started Crimson Poppy, a long way to go on this one. Testing it for the retreat in August.
Around the 20-24 projects seems to be where I am always at. It is too long, At least some go. but new ones are alway added to it. I hope you are doing a better job than I am in completing projects. If you need some encouragement in completing projects I do run a Facebook group Cynthia’s Ark Project Uninterrupted which you can join and participate in monthly challenges, ask for help and share your victories however small they are. Every step completed in a project is one step closer to the project being finished.

Wow you have some beautiful quilts to finish. I’ll be checking in to see what you get done this year.
Oh my gosh, you make me feel so much better about my unfinished projects. Maybe we all need to crack the whip and get you sewing 🙄😀😂. Don’t be hard on yourself, time goes by so fast and fitting in extra sewing time is hard.
I had a week off and in that time I had 1 day of sewing.
