As you can probably see we have had a busy start to the year. With class/workshops back on, we are participating in the Local Quilt Shop Contest, Coral Reef workshop series is about to start, GISC 13 just completed we are definitely pumped. It’s a good way to start the year, We have lots planned over the next 12 months and starting to fill fast. The first 3 retreats for the year are basically full. Can you believe that. Sew Delightful Cottages at Burra are proving to be a winner. Though we can’t have as many people, as we have had when we have gone to Nunyara in previous years, it seems to be what people want. It could be the different venue, small groups or the food, maybe a combination of thing which is making these retreats so popular. If you are interested in attending it would be wise to let me know, so I can add you the list.

You may have noticed my Crimson Poppy quilt is nearly finished I just have to piece it all together which I have plans to do later this week.

Half of it laid out

You know that means I am ready to start a new Quiltworx project or is it two. Ok I give in, there is three new Quiltworx projects in the pipeline. I am looking forward to start at least one very soon.

Two of the projects will lead to workshops in the second half of the year. The other one is fabric requirement test for future kits. So there will be plenty of snapshots of projects coming up.

Until Next Time Keep Stitching

  1. I always love your Burra retreats Cynthia. It is amazing to think your upcoming retreats are booking up fast. I think smaller groups open the way to mixing more and making new friends. It sounds like another busy year for you ahead.
