What’s Up

A few things have been happening here around the shop this week. We should have been away on holiday this week, but as you know we cancelled our trip. Then a few days later the event organisers cancelled the event we were attending. Well postponed!

A secret shipment containing Tilda’s Cotton Beach range arrived. Hidden in plain sight until the 31st January when I put what’s left, after I fill the pre orders.

I have processed the Batik Club and Field Journal this week. I have space in the Batik Club, if you need to increase your Batik stash or start one. I highly recommend it. At $32 a month plus postage, you receive 1.2 metres of assorted batik fabrics. Plus 4 times a year you receive bonus products. A heads up for Tilda Club members. I will have the shipment sometime next week and will process those orders. If you are interested in Tilda Club I have a couple of spots available. Tilda Club is a bi monthly club and contains a different kit every two months featuring Tilda fabrics. The cost $39.95 plus postage. Occasionally I have a couple spare kits and you can purchase as a stand alone kit. Available in store and online.

The main project we are working on is Quiltworx Crimson Poppy. We have nearly finished all our sections, just the outside units to go, to square the quilts up. This is the quilt we will be making at Burra in August this year on our teaching retreat.

I am finalising the details currently and those who have already expressed their interest will be receiving the details in the coming week. If you are not sure if you have expressed interest in this retreat contact me to check if you name is on the list. I am alway happy to add to my list. Those who would like to do this project and can’t attend the retreat I will be teaching this project in store. It will be a multi day workshop set.
