What a week I have had. I can say there was not a dull minute. I was up at Sew Delightful Quilting Retreat with a great bunch of ladies on a Tilda Retreat. All thing Tilda was the theme. We had a great 3 days away. For a group of ladies that didn’t know each other before hand, a great friendship bond was made.

Elizabeth was busy quilting
Catherine’s quilt. in progress
Robyn was busy bag making
Annette started a new project
Wendy was busy on some small projects.
Heather was creating tulip blocks
Linda was making blocks for her quilt.

Unfortunately Covid slipped in and we found ourselves isolating when we got home. That means I am isolating in the shop. Now there are worse places to isolate, but the shop could do with a shower and a stove. Then I would be really comfortable. I finally get some Covid sewing time. Over the last two years I keep seeing people out there, that have had Covid sewing time and all the stuff they made was fantastic. There is still a lot of work behind the scenes for Cynthia’s Ark to do, like workshop program, emails, orders, etc. But it also meant I could look at making some workshop/retreat samples. That means extra time at the sewing machine, which is alway a good thing.

A project bag which I have filled already. I am going to need more of these.
This is an By Annie bag sample.

Today when I get to the machine, I have a table runner to quilt and a secret Tilda project using the upcoming range Chic Escape/Daisyfields to work on.

Until Next Time Keep Stitching

Cynthia
