What a year 2023 has been! We have had the good, the bad and the ugly this year. As you can see it has been a long time since I did a blog post. The second half of year was just impossible and things had to be dropped. Things I didn’t want to drop, got drop, I learnt a lot of things in the last 6 months, which I will take in to the new year. I know where I stand now and will not waste my time on things that were dragging me down the wrong path. I hope you, my readers had a better year all round.

My sewing in 2023 was non existence for most of the year, maybe 3-4 projects completed and a couple to quilt top stage. Who knows what my UFO list is going to look like when I review it. At least there will not be too much to add to the list, since I haven’t done a lot of sewing.

2024 is looking brighter with new classes, new projects, challenges in the Project Uninterrupted Facebook group, new products, retreats and more. The Workshop program for the first part of the year is up and I am taking booking for those listed workshops. Some will fill fast as they alway do, so don’t wait around if you want to book in to a workshop. I have new Quiltworx workshops lined up and By Annie bag making workshops in the pipeline. I had a suggestion put to me about making a monthly By Annie class. I would like some feedback if there is interest. There will be some Scrappy projects workshops to use up your leftovers. Eg Pendulum on the 27th January which is our first workshop back.

This is Riptides which we did in store last year over the October long weekend. This year we will run it over 2 monthly workshops.

This is Carnival Flower which is our Technique of the month project over 7 months, starting in February. I have a couple of spots left in the Thursday and Sunday classes.

We are going to start the year with a sale. Our Slip into Summer Sale will run between the 5th-7th January in store. So now is a good time to check your projects to see if you need anything else to finish them off or if you have a project or two that need kitting up for the new year or if you are looking a new project, it will be worth the visit. We would love to see more finished projects in 2024.

Just remember phone orders and Messenger enquiries are welcome if you see something that takes your fancy from the Facebook pictures I share.

Until Next Time Keep Stitching
